Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to provide expert‑level technical and operational security assurance for mission‑critical ICT and industrial systems. You will protect critical infrastructure in the Australian market and globally by designing, implementing and testing robust security controls for OT and IT environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead OT security assessments and maturity audits, using Siemens SINEC Security Inspector, SINEC Security Monitor and the Zone‑and‑Conduit segmentation model.
• Hardening and configuration of industrial control environments, focusing on 80% of ecosystem components.
• Deploy and manage SCALANCE S Industrial Security Appliances, DMZs and the SINEC Secure Connect Zero‑Trust platform to protect PROFINET, OPC UA and other industrial protocols.
• Maintain continuous compliance with NIST CSF 2.0 (Govern function), IEC 62443, and the Australian Energy Sector Cyber Security Framework (AESCSF).
• Stay current with Australian Government security requirements, including the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience securing operational technology and industrial control systems.
• Strong knowledge of Australian cyber‑security regulations and standards.
• Ability to work proactively in fast‑paced, multi‑vendor environments and master proprietary technologies quickly.
