Cyber Security Resilience Analyst

About the role

Insignia Financial is looking for a Cyber Security Resilience Analyst to join its best‑in‑class cyber team. In this pivotal position you will help detect, respond to, and recover from security incidents while working alongside supportive professionals who value your input and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse security events from the SIEM, investigate suspicious activity and assess threats.
• Collaborate with external Security Operations Centres to improve detection and response capabilities.
• Conduct threat‑hunting missions and participate in purple‑team exercises to test defences.
• Provide internal teams with best‑practice guidance and policy advice based on findings.
• Investigate incidents, perform digital forensics and respond to suspicious emails.
• Stay up‑to‑date on emerging threats and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Experience in cyber security operations, incident response and threat hunting.
• Strong passion for protecting organisations against cyber threats.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external SOC providers.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms.
• Knowledge of XDR and EDR technologies.
• Understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS and related security controls.
• Familiarity with threat‑intelligence platforms.
• Digital forensics techniques.
• Ability to analyse suspicious email content.
