Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

Triskele Labs is seeking a hands‑on Cyber Security Engineer to design, deploy and maintain the security platforms that protect Australian organisations. You will work closely with our SOC and consulting teams to translate client requirements into resilient, production‑ready defenses across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and onboard Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike and Rapid7 into client environments, ensuring full integration and configuration.
• Connect data sources, build log ingestion pipelines and guarantee accurate telemetry flow.
• Monitor platform health, apply updates, manage configurations and handle day‑to‑day BAU tasks.
• Continuously improve security posture by hardening configurations, closing gaps and migrating clients to advanced standards.
• Engineer and harden cloud workloads on AWS and Azure.
• Automate deployment and maintenance using scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Document standards, runbooks and reference architectures for scalable, repeatable deployments.

Required profile

• Strong, hands‑on experience with Microsoft security solutions (Sentinel, Defender) and a valid AZ‑500 certification.
• Proven track record deploying and maintaining CrowdStrike, Rapid7, AWS and Azure security tools.
• Ability to stand up platforms cleanly and keep them healthy over time.
• Solid cloud security fundamentals for both AWS and Azure.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on thorough resolution.
