Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

The Cyber Security Analyst protects Specialized by monitoring security activity, reviewing findings, supporting incident response, and working directly with teammates to reduce risk.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts across endpoint, identity, email, network, cloud, application, and data‑protection tooling.
• Investigate suspicious activity, validate findings, gather evidence, document conclusions and escalate based on risk.
• Partner with Global Technology and business teams to review findings, explain impact, agree on remediation steps and track closure.
• Lead security‑related projects to strengthen proactive security, improve baselines, advance vulnerability management and support system hardening.
• Review vulnerability, exposure, configuration, penetration‑test and bug‑bounty findings; validate severity, ownership and remediation status.
• Support incident response by determining scope, documenting timelines, coordinating containment and contributing to post‑incident follow‑up.
• Operate and improve security tools by reviewing coverage, tuning alerts, validating data quality and identifying gaps.
• Create and maintain runbooks, investigation notes, dashboards, metrics and recurring reports that show risk trends and open actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, analysis, incident response or vulnerability management.
• Strong investigative skills, ability to connect evidence from multiple sources and make risk‑based decisions.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills with a service‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional security projects and drive work to completion.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of endpoint detection and response, SIEM, email security and data‑protection tools.
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and OCI.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management, threat hunting, system hardening and access reviews.
• Experience using Atlassian platforms and creating dashboards, reports or simple automations.
• Knowledge of Entra ID, SaaS security and common enterprise operating systems.
