Customer Service Representative – Full Time

About the role

Datacom is hiring full‑time Customer Service Representatives for its Modbury‑based Federal Government support team. You will be the friendly, professional first point of contact for customers, helping them solve problems, access essential services and achieve the best possible outcomes. Comprehensive training, knowledge resources and ongoing leadership support are provided.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone, email and processing items.
• Build rapport quickly while delivering accurate, timely information.
• Identify and resolve issues by following clear processes and guidelines.
• Meet Key Performance Indicators for customer satisfaction and service quality.

Required profile

• Clear, confident verbal and written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy under time pressure.
• Team player who contributes to a positive environment.
• Empathy and patience, especially when assisting people in challenging situations.
• Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems (typing speed 20 WPM or higher).
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
• Previous customer service or contact‑centre experience is valued but not essential.
