Customer Service Officer - Carlingford Court

About the role

A permanent full-time Customer Service Officer position is available at the St George's Carlingford Court Shopping Centre branch. As the first point of contact for customers, you will create a welcoming experience, use your knowledge of St George's financial products to support customers' banking needs, and refer them to the right specialists in Home Loans or Business Banking. Hours are across and include Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with banking transactions, including cash deposits and withdrawals
• Maintain accurate cash handling and ensure end-of-day balancing
• Educate customers on digital platforms such as online banking and the mobile app
• Identify opportunities to improve customers' financial wellbeing through tailored solutions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

Required profile

• Customer service experience, ideally in a customer-facing role
• Ability to handle cash accurately and complete financial transactions correctly
• An energetic, helpful personality and resilience in challenging situations
• Adaptability to new banking procedures and technologies
• No banking experience needed: comprehensive training and hands-on support are provided
