Customer Service Booking Agent

About the role

Capital Radiology & Integral Diagnostics is expanding its Customer Service Centre to enhance the patient experience. The role is the first point of contact for patients, handling booking requests across multiple channels in a professional and empathetic manner.

Key responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls, online bookings, email, fax referrals and voicemail queries.
• Schedule patient appointments, maximise slot utilisation and provide preparation instructions, cost estimates and concession card information.
• Quote fees and Medicare rebates, manage referrals and collaborate with radiologists, radiographers and other clinical staff.
• Use the Visage RIS system to manage appointments, ensure accurate data entry and optimise clinic efficiency.

Required profile

• Self‑leading with a “Patient First” mindset and passion for healthcare.
• Previous experience as a medical receptionist or booking agent, preferably in medical imaging, GP or allied health.
• Excellent communication, compassionate under pressure and able to work autonomously or in a team.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry, cash handling and EFTPOS processing.

Required skills

• Proficiency with RIS systems (Visage) and multi‑platform technology use.
• Experience handling cash, EFTPOS and booking software.
