About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Crew Member to join our fast‑casual Mexican restaurant in Salisbury Downs. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to deliver friendly, prompt service and prepare menu items to GYG’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

Provide courteous and efficient service to customers.
Prepare and assemble menu items following established recipes and procedures.
Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) and EFTPOS systems for order taking and payment.
Maintain a clean, tidy and organised work station throughout the shift.
Stay up‑to‑date with menu knowledge, ingredients and food safety standards.

Required profile

Advanced English proficiency (if non‑native).
RSA certificate.
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Outgoing, approachable personality with a strong customer focus.
Willingness to learn, proactive attitude and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn POS/EFTPOS operation.
Understanding of Australian currency, payment methods and loyalty cards.
