Crew Member – Fast Casual Mexican Restaurant

About the role

Join the vibrant team at Guzman y Gomez in Greenacres and help deliver a memorable Mexican fast‑casual experience. As a Crew Member you will interact directly with guests, prepare menu items, and ensure the restaurant runs smoothly in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt service to customers at the front of house.
• Prepare and assemble menu items following GYG standards and recipes.
• Operate the Point‑of‑Sale (POS) and EFTPOS machines accurately.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised work station throughout the shift.
• Handle cash, card payments and loyalty cards in accordance with Australian currency guidelines.
• Support teammates by multitasking and assisting where needed.

Required profile

• Advanced English communication skills (if non‑native).
• RSA certificate.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high‑energy environment.
• Outgoing, approachable personality with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to learn, proactive mindset and strong teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• POS and EFTPOS machine operation.
• Understanding of Australian currency, payment methods and loyalty card systems.
