Crèche Assistant

About the role

As a Crèche Assistant at One Playground, you will help create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children while their parents attend training sessions. You will support children’s daily routines, encourage play‑based learning and ensure constant supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome children and families, helping them settle in comfortably.
• Plan and facilitate age‑appropriate activities that promote social, emotional and physical development.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well‑stocked crèche area at all times.
• Monitor children closely, ensuring their safety and wellbeing throughout the day.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s experience and any observations.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for working with children and supporting families.
• Positive, energetic attitude and ability to work well within a team.
• Reliability, punctuality and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines and emergency procedures.
