Country Manager, Australia & New Zealand

About the role

As 1Password’s Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand, you will lead the region’s go‑to‑market strategy, own revenue performance and build a high‑performing local team across sales, channel, business development, solutions engineering and customer success.

Key responsibilities

• Own the ANZ business plan and revenue outcomes across new business, expansion and retention, establishing forecasting and pipeline cadence.
• Translate 1Password’s global strategy into a regional operating plan that reflects local buying behavior, market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
• Build a channel‑first growth engine by developing distributors, resellers and service providers with joint business plans and measurable pipeline goals.
• Serve as executive sponsor for priority customers, strengthening relationships with CIOs, CISOs and other senior leaders.
• Recruit, onboard and develop a high‑performing Sydney‑based team and ensure effective collaboration across all go‑to‑market functions.

Required profile

• Significant leadership experience in enterprise software, cybersecurity, cloud or identity markets, with deep ANZ market credibility.
• Proven track record of launching or scaling a regional business with accountability for revenue, people, partners and customer outcomes.
• Strong channel‑first leadership and ability to create partner economics as a core operating model.
• Experience leading multiple GTM disciplines such as sales, channel, business development, solutions engineering and customer success.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Australia and New Zealand, with occasional international travel.

Required skills

• Knowledge of identity and access management, privileged access, SaaS security or AI security.
• Familiarity with complex enterprise buying processes and sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
