About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Cost Manager to lead quantity surveying activities for retail projects. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders and internal teams to deliver accurate cost planning and control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, procurement and tender documentation, and manage pre‑qualification stages.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, write procurement reports and produce final cost plans.
  • Administer contracts, variations, final accounts and produce monthly post‑contract cost reports.
  • Perform cost checks, valuations and tender analysis for large projects.
  • Interface with clients and consultants at all project stages, presenting cost reports and recommendations.

Required profile

  • Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
  • MRICS or AIQS accreditation is ideal.
  • Relevant consultancy experience with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and strong report writing skills.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with CostX software.
