Corporate Tax Manager – Financial Services

About the role

KPMG’s Corporate Tax division supports businesses in navigating complex tax obligations and filing requirements. As a member of the Corporate Tax Advisory team, you will work with multinational clients in the financial services sector, helping them manage tax across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with clients and target accounts to understand their business needs.
• Lead multiple tax engagements of varying size and complexity.
• Advise clients on intricate corporate tax matters and provide strategic guidance.
• Produce well‑researched, client‑ready tax opinions.
• Mentor and guide junior tax consultants.

Required profile

• Previous corporate tax experience in a professional services, legal services, or in‑house environment.
• Experience with Australian or other Commonwealth tax regimes.
• Ability to draft clear, well‑supported tax opinions.
• Legal or commerce degree (desirable).
• Proactive, growth‑oriented mindset with a can‑do attitude.
