Corporate Accountant

About the role
Our client, a well‑established Australian property development and project management group, is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join a fast‑growing multi‑entity organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO and Directors, you will own day‑to‑day financial operations and provide commercial insight across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Process invoices and manage end‑of‑month accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and run payroll, employee expense reimbursements and superannuation payments.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain director credit‑card reconciliations.
- Complete month‑end reconciliations, including intercompany loan accounts.
- Maintain the general ledger and perform balance‑sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly and annual budgets and cash‑flow forecasts.
- Support FBT requirements and liaise with external tax agents.
- Partner with project teams to provide financial support for active developments.
- Collaborate with the CEO and Directors on financial reporting, commercial insights and strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to ad‑hoc accounting projects and continuous process‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in a commercial or professional services environment.
- Completed CA or CPA qualification.
- Experience in multi‑entity environments and managing intercompany transactions.
- Exposure to property, construction, development or business services is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently in a fast‑paced setting.

- Attractive salary package of $120,000‑$135,000 + superannuation.
