Cook, Part-Time / Full-Time – Aged Care

About the role

Estia Health is looking for a cook to work in its aged care facility in Chirnside Park, Victoria. You will help create a home residents love by delivering service standards of the highest level and preparing fresh, wholesome meals tailored to individual needs. The role is open to part-time and full-time positions.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside the chef to assist with kitchen management.
• Tailor meals to meet individual residents' needs and preferences.
• Prepare healthy, nutritious and delicious meals for residents.
• Support the wider kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
• Some experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care experience highly regarded).
• A good range of experience with different cuisines and dietary requirements, responding to the social, spiritual and cultural needs of residents.
• Great communication and documentation skills.
