Cook - Kindergarten Catering

About the role

G8 Education is looking for an experienced Cook to join the team at Bambino's Kindergarten in Harrington Park North, producing high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for children each day. The role is permanent part-time, working 26 hours per week, and requires a strong understanding of allergy management.

Key responsibilities

• Produce daily meals and snacks for children
• Plan menus and manage budgets
• Order and control stock
• Prepare food safely and keep the kitchen clean, in line with Food Safety regulations

Required profile

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, or completed or willing to complete a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Experience in a cook role
• Current Working with Children's Check
• Available for set shift days and times, Monday to Friday

Required skills

• Menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering and control
• Dietary and allergy-safe food preparation
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
