Cook – Breakfast Shifts

About the role

Minor Hotels’ Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort is seeking a passionate and reliable Cook to join the kitchen team on a casual basis, focusing on breakfast service across a rotating roster.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking and plating of meals.
• Cook a variety of dishes in line with menu standards and guest expectations.
• Ensure excellent presentation of meals before service.
• Maintain proper food storage, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
• Support team members to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role.
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Positive, proactive attitude and genuine passion for cooking.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
