Contracts Manager

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead commercial administration on the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project, a $5.75 billion rail alliance in South East Queensland. The role reports to the Commercial Manager and works across a multi‑partner delivery model to ensure contracts are administered effectively and risks are mitigated.

Key responsibilities

• Lead contract administration for assigned works packages and sub‑contracts, including procurement, negotiation and variation management.
• Manage claims, variations and change control across the alliance, assessing and mitigating commercial and contractual risk.
• Support procurement strategy and subcontractor engagement, reviewing contract compliance and advising leadership on commercial exposure.
• Partner with design, delivery and finance teams to resolve issues and prepare commercial reporting and forecasts for project governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract administration on major construction projects.
• Experience managing claims, variations and subcontractor issues within alliance or joint‑venture models.
• Strong negotiation, risk management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Tertiary qualification in construction, law or quantity surveying.
