Contracts Administrator - Healthcare Fitouts

About the role

A leading healthcare design and construct specialist with 20+ years in the industry and 100+ medical, dental and allied health fitouts completed is hiring a Contracts Administrator in Norwest, Sydney. The role manages the creation, maintenance and variations of client contracts and oversees the commercial and financial aspects of healthcare fitout projects from tendering through to handover. The employer is a smaller, rapidly growing team with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain and manage variations on client contracts
• Ensure subcontractor licensing, WHS and insurance compliance
• Lead trade procurement, issue subcontracts and purchase orders
• Administer final accounts, retentions, O&M manuals and defects reporting
• Manage cost reports, budgets, payment claims and monthly progress claims

Required profile

• Planning Portal experience highly regarded
• Contracts experience in construction, construction materials or similar
• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, QS, Building Studies or similar
• Commercial acumen, strong negotiation skills and exceptional attention to detail

Required skills

• Proficiency in construction software
• MS Office, with advanced Excel preferred
