Construction Supervisor - Retaining Wall

About the role

A leading construction company specialising in structural remediation, foundation repairs and ground stabilisation has set up a new retaining wall division and is looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to build and lead the team. The position is permanent and full-time, based in Welshpool, with consistent Monday to Friday hours from 7 AM to 3 PM and potential overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Lead retaining wall projects from initial site assessment through to completion, delivering high-quality, safe and commercially successful outcomes.
• Work hands-on with crews during the division's growth phase, coordinating labour, plant, materials, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers and clients.
• Review plans and site conditions, prepare take-offs and estimates, and support competitive quoting, pricing and tender submissions.
• Build and develop a high-performing team and establish practical systems, processes and construction standards.
• Identify new opportunities and drive the success of the division, with a pathway to a senior manager role.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience, with strong retaining walls, limestone blocks and concreting experience.
• Experience running a business or overseeing a division within construction is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and client-management skills.
• Current valid driver's licence and White Card.
• Full Australian working rights.

What we offer

• Remuneration of $120,000 - $160,000 plus superannuation, pending experience.
