Construction Manager – Perth (FIFO)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead planning, coordination and execution of construction activities for a major project in the Northern Territory. The role starts office‑based, supporting design integration and early execution, then transitions to a FIFO on‑site position as the project advances.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction planning, select methodologies and define execution strategies to ensure safe, efficient delivery.
• Develop and manage Construction Work Packages (CWPs) aligned with engineering, procurement and schedule.
• Review and approve budgets, forecasts and schedules, meeting cost and time targets.
• Conduct constructability reviews, assess drawings and specifications, identify risks and optimise methods.
• Establish construction execution plans, site procedures and governance in line with corporate standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning and project leadership to drive performance.
• Manage safety planning and ensure compliance with HSE standards, legislation and site requirements.
• Lead, mentor and manage construction teams and contractors to achieve project outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on major heavy‑industry, resources or industrial projects.
• Strong commitment to health and safety across all project phases.
• Deep knowledge of construction practices, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑management capabilities.
