Construction Electrician - Camp Extension (FIFO)

About the role

Pearl Recruitment is seeking experienced Construction Electricians and experienced Leading Hands for an upcoming camp extension project. Working with a small, multi-skilled construction team, you will install and complete electrical works across a site-based accommodation expansion. The project runs about 6 months on a 2:1 FIFO roster, starting in November.

Key responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring, cable trays, conduits, switchboards and associated equipment
• Complete electrical rough-ins, fit-outs, testing and commissioning
• Install lighting, power outlets and electrical infrastructure in accommodation and communal facilities
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and project specifications
• Ensure installations comply with Australian electrical standards and site safety requirements
• Coordinate with other trades to meet project milestones

Required profile

• Previous electrical construction experience, ideally in FIFO or remote site environments
• Experience with commercial, industrial or accommodation construction projects
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications confidently
• Attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices
• Ability to work independently within a small construction team
• Trade Certificate / WA Electrical Licence, White Card, drivers licence, and relevant licences such as Senior First Aid / CPR + LVR; ability to obtain a National Police Clearance

What we offer

• Pay of $80 per hour plus superannuation
• 2:1 FIFO roster for approximately 6 months
