Concrete Tester / Laboratory Technician

About the role

Boral is looking for a Concrete Tester (Laboratory Technician) to join its Orange Grove team. You will focus on the day-to-day sampling and testing of high-specification concrete products and on casting cylinders.

Key responsibilities

• Sample concrete from seven metro concrete plants
• Perform slump tests on concrete and cast cylinders
• Generate summary reports and keep accurate records
• Follow Inspection and Test Plans to carry out production and compliance testing
• Maintain the laboratory in line with NATA accreditation requirements

Required profile

• Energetic and physically capable
• Good listening and communication skills
• Strong commitment to safety and quality, with well-developed analytical skills
• Flexible to work Monday to Saturday and shift work when required
• Able to work with other teams based in the metro locations
