Concrete Plant Manager

About the role

Lead the Dandenong Concrete Plant & Depot, overseeing daily operations, safety, finances, team performance, and customer relationships. This permanent full‑time position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and includes occasional weekend work based on business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day plant operations, including sales, financial reporting and cost control.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, productivity and cost‑effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, fostering a strong safety culture.
• Lead, mentor and train plant personnel, providing development opportunities.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven ability to inspire and lead teams through transformation and growth.
• Strong knowledge of HSE/OHS policies and legislation.
• Excellent project management skills with a focus on high‑quality results.
• Resilient, adaptable and capable of making quick decisions under pressure.
• Effective problem‑solver with strong planning abilities.
