Compliance and Audit Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Compliance & Audit Coordinator to join our growing compliance team at Jacaranda Finance. Reporting to the Head of Compliance & Audit, you will help ensure the business meets its regulatory obligations while supporting internal audit and governance activities across a fast‑moving digital consumer lending environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of compliance and internal audit programmes, including control testing and loan file reviews.
• Maintain and update compliance registers, action plans and related documentation.
• Coordinate monthly compliance monitoring, reporting and preparation of audit working papers.
• Assist with policy and procedure updates, and manage training records for compliance education.
• Facilitate Compliance Committee meetings and contribute to governance reporting.
• Support external audits and respond to regulatory information requests.
• Monitor regulatory developments and propose continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in compliance, audit, risk, governance or quality assurance (preferred).
• Strong organisational abilities, high attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proactive mindset, analytical problem‑solving skills and high integrity.
• Relevant qualification or ongoing study in Business, Compliance, Risk or a related field is desirable.
