Community Safety Sports and Recreation Officer (x2)

About the role

Roper Gulf Regional Council is recruiting two Community Safety Sports and Recreation Officers to join its team in Bulman on a part-time, fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027. The officers deliver sport and recreation activities and events in Bulman in line with the Community Activity Plan, working under the direction of the Community Safety Coordinator.

Key responsibilities

• Run sport and recreation activities and events for the community
• Assist with community safety patrols as required
• Supervise program participants
• Work with volunteers and work experience participants
• Help maintain the facilities, equipment and vehicles used for the programs

What we offer

• Part-time employment of 20 hours per week on a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027
• Salary scale Level 2: $57,664.80 to $63,276.43 per annum
