About the role

Join MRT Rehab’s growing allied health team as a Community Occupational Therapist, delivering home‑based therapy across Melbourne. You will work within the Home Care Package and Support at Home funding streams, supporting older adults to achieve functional goals in their own homes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct home and safety assessments using the company’s online platform.
• Prescribe equipment, write detailed reports, and liaise with builders and other stakeholders.
• Provide evidence‑based, consumer‑centred interventions tailored to individual goals.
• Travel within a 30‑45 minute radius of your assigned area to deliver services.
• Develop and document consumer‑centered goals using the client profile system.
• Participate in on‑the‑job training, mentoring, and peer supervision programs.
