Community and Talent Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Community and Talent Manager to build and nurture a member‑driven technology talent community in Sydney. You will own the end‑to‑end health of the community, from recruiting new members to ensuring they have meaningful project opportunities and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Drive member network growth by attracting new tech professionals and teams.
• Oversee member onboarding, vetting and integration to deliver a great experience.
• Foster community spirit through events, guild activation, media contributions and meet‑ups.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align community activities with client demand.

Required profile

• Proven experience in community management, preferably within technology or digital services.
• Strong background in talent acquisition, recruitment or talent development.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills across a distributed network.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications or related field preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital collaboration and project‑management platforms.
• Ability to analyse community data to track health and engagement.
