Commodity Hand - Feedlot

About the role

JBS Prime City Feedlot, located 45 km north-west of Griffith in southern New South Wales, is recruiting a highly motivated, experienced self-starter to join its team. The feedlot has a 35,000-head capacity and supplies grain-fed beef to the JBS Riverina Beef processing facility at Yanco.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare commodities daily in preparation for delivery
• Maintain commodity hygiene, including shovelling, sweeping and general cleaning
• Operate front-end loaders and other machinery, and drive feed trucks as required
• Carry out mill roustabout duties as required
• Maintain compliance with JBS Australia policies, including WHS, HR, QA, animal welfare and environmental obligations

Required profile

• Machinery and plant operation experience
• Experience handling grain and bulk commodities is advantageous
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
• Willingness to learn new skills
