Commissioning and Site Supervisor

About the role

Join Penske's National Energy Solutions Team as a Site Manager in Altona North, leading a team of installers to deliver energy solutions across Victoria. You will focus on safety leadership, oversee installations, and ensure projects meet specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage Energy Solutions installers, including subcontractors, to deliver safe and on‑time installations.
• Plan, facilitate and supervise installation jobs, monitor schedules, and coordinate resources, tools and assets.
• Prepare and submit HSE documents, permits and training inductions.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Commissioning Managers and Engineering to ensure correct commissioning.
• Support cost forecasting, control and project documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience with complex generator installations (electrical and mechanical).
• Demonstrated ability to manage, develop and motivate a team.
• Strong customer focus, high emotional intelligence and leadership mindset.
• Understanding of HSE and QA processes.

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of diesel and gas engines, generators, controls, switchgear and auxiliary systems.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
