About the role

Join the culinary team at The Sebel Brisbane as a Commis Chef, learning directly from experienced senior chefs while contributing to the creation of memorable dishes for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present food in line with property standards and service timelines.
• Maintain high quality, consistency, and presentation of dishes.
• Adhere to health, safety, and HACCP regulations.
• Assist with a variety of kitchen tasks, from dishwashing to cooking.

Required profile

• Recognised culinary training and commercial cookery certification.
• Safe food handling or food safety supervisor certification (preferred).
• Ambitious, passionate about food and open to feedback.
• Flexible availability for mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• HACCP management knowledge.
• Safe food handling practices.
