Commercial Specialist – Energy Solutions

About the role

Join a leading Australian energy business as a Commercial Specialist, supporting the delivery of innovative power solutions for commercial, industrial and residential customers. You will work closely with commercial, operations, finance and customer service teams to manage contracts, pricing and revenue optimisation while contributing to renewable energy, battery storage and micro‑grid projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer contracts, electricity supply agreements and commercial arrangements.
• Support contract negotiations, renewals and customer retention initiatives.
• Conduct pricing analysis and assist in tariff development.
• Monitor revenue performance, margins and profitability.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and business case development.
• Resolve commercial and billing issues for customers.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.
• Perform market analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Support the development of renewable energy, battery storage and micro‑grid solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, service providers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Recent experience in energy, utilities, commercial management or contract management.
• Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of profitability and risk.
• Proven ability to manage contracts and stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Experience with CRM, billing or energy trading systems is desirable.
