Commercial Manager

About the role

ACCIONA is looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to provide strategic commercial leadership on large‑scale construction and infrastructure projects. You will ensure robust contract administration, risk management and commercial governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the administration of head contracts and sub‑contracts.
• Prepare, assess and negotiate variations and extensions of time (EOT) claims.
• Identify, analyse and mitigate commercial risks.
• Support procurement strategy, tender evaluation and negotiation.
• Ensure compliance with commercial, legal and probity requirements.
• Manage commercial reporting, forecasting and claims management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive value‑for‑money outcomes across the project.

Required profile

• Degree in Contract Law, Commerce, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Significant commercial experience on major projects.
• Strong contract administration, negotiation and procurement expertise.
• Highly desirable: qualifications or background as a Quantity Surveyor.
