Commercial Analyst (APAC)

About the role

Sazerac, an independent, family-owned global company producing and marketing bourbons and whiskeys such as Buffalo Trace, Pappy Van Winkle, Eagle Rare, Blantons, Traveller and Sazerac Rye, and owning brands such as Fireball and Southern Comfort, is looking for a Commercial Analyst. Working across the APAC region, you will partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to turn data into insights that help the business grow revenue, improve margins and use its resources more effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse brand, customer and channel performance to find commercial opportunities and recommend improvements
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance across APAC, turning complex data into clear insights
• Evaluate pricing, promotions, trade spend, marketing investment, distribution and sales performance
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, business cases and performance reviews, highlighting risks, opportunities and key drivers
• Analyse costs across freight, COGS and overheads and improve reporting, tools and processes

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline
• 3+ years in commercial finance, FP&A, commercial analytics, revenue management or a similar analytical role
• Experience with P&L, business performance and financial or commercial data, able to turn analysis into practical recommendations
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills, able to work across teams and influence decisions through data
• Experience across APAC markets, including distributor and direct routes to market, is important
• Experience in liquor, FMCG or another consumer-facing business, especially pricing, trade spend or revenue growth management, is an advantage
