About the role
A well-established stone manufacturer in Brisbane, Queensland, is looking for a CNC Machine Operator. The role involves operating CNC bridge saws and waterjets in a modern factory that serves major home builders across Queensland.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC bridge saw and waterjet machines
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Fabricate benchtop parts with precision and accuracy
- Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed
- Inspect finished products for defects
- Care for routine machine maintenance and cleaning
- Follow OH&S procedures and silica controls
Required profile
- Splomasonry trade qualification or industry experience
- 2+ years of CNC bridge saw or waterjet experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with strict silica controls
- Current working rights (sponsorship considered)
