Club General Manager - Sippy Downs

About the role

Fitness Cartel Health Clubs is looking for an experienced Club General Manager to lead its established Sippy Downs club. You will build on the club's foundations, inspire a high-performing team and create an exceptional experience for members and the local community. You will work closely with the Executive Team, Regional Performance Managers and Directors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the club's culture, performance and connection with the local community
• Manage budgets, financials and retention strategies
• Oversee operations across the Crèche, Retail & Apparel and Café
• Recruit, train and develop a high-performing team, and mentor department heads
• Maintain facilities to a high standard
• Lead club events and initiatives such as Open Days and 8-Week Challenges
• Deliver clear reporting, analysis and communication to drive continuous improvement

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a large "Big Box" gym, ideally with 20+ staff and 2,000+ members
• Experience in a KPI-driven environment and a drive to exceed targets
• A people-first approach, strong sales skills and a passion for health and fitness
• Solution-focused, resilient and adaptable, with excellent communication skills
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain them
