Cloud Engineer (AWS / DevOps)

About the role

Join Expert360’s high‑performing cloud team to deliver large‑scale AWS transformation projects across Melbourne, Canberra or Brisbane. You will design, build and support secure, scalable cloud environments while applying modern DevOps practices and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cloud‑native solutions on AWS.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML and classic).
• Develop infrastructure as code with Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Support containerisation using Docker and micro‑services architectures.
• Manage multi‑environment deployments (Dev, Test, Pre‑Prod, Prod).
• Produce runbooks, documentation and automation to ensure operational readiness.
• Collaborate on solution design, technical specifications and delivery planning.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship or active security clearance (Baseline or higher).
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services.
• Proven experience building Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with containerisation (Docker) and micro‑services.
• Background in infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
• Proficiency in scripting (Shell, PowerShell) and Linux administration.

• Salary $120,000‑$130,000 AUD inclusive of superannuation.
