Clinician - Infant, Child & Youth Mental Health (Seymour)

About the role

Goulburn Valley Health's Infant, Child and Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (ICYMHS) provides mental health care and support for infants, children, families and young people up to age 25. The Clinician role delivers advanced trauma-informed mental health care and is based in the Seymour office. It is open to full-time or part-time candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive developmental mental health assessment, formulation and individualized recovery planning
• Carry out risk assessments, safety planning and crisis management plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to complex, high-risk consumers, their families and their network of service providers

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification and AHPRA registration in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Mental Health Nursing or an AASW-compliant Social Work qualification
• Experience working with people experiencing mental illness and psychological distress, preferably children, youth and families
• Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders to support care
