Clinical Research Associate II (Home-Based, Australia)

About the role

ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is looking for a Clinical Research Associate II to join its team on a home-based basis in Australia. You will help design and analyse clinical trials, interpret complex medical data and contribute to new medicines and treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site qualification, initiation, monitoring and close-out visits for clinical trials
• Ensure protocol compliance, data integrity and patient safety throughout the trial
• Collaborate with investigators and site staff to run studies smoothly
• Review data and resolve queries to keep clinical data of high quality
• Help prepare and review study documentation, including protocols and clinical study reports

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field
• At least 2 years of independent monitoring experience as a Clinical Research Associate in a CRO or pharma setting
• In-depth knowledge of clinical trial processes, regulations and ICH-GCP guidelines
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel locally and interstate, with a valid driver's licence
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
