Clinical Research Associate (CRA) – Perth

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to support our clinical studies across Perth (and potentially Melbourne and Adelaide). This 12‑month contract role involves on‑site monitoring of investigational sites to ensure compliance with protocols, SOPs and ICH‑GCP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent monitoring visits (site evaluation, initiation, interim, motivational and close‑out) and prepare detailed visit reports.
• Perform co‑monitoring visits as required and maintain essential clinical documentation in accordance with SOPs.
• Communicate study‑specific information between trial sites and internal teams, escalating issues promptly.
• Manage study start‑up activities, clinical supplies, enrollment, data collection and study close‑out.
• Train site personnel on the protocol, related manuals, ICH‑GCP guidelines and any study‑specific portals or vendor systems.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, nursing, medical or pharmacy discipline.
• 5–7 years of CRA experience within a CRO, biotech or pharmaceutical environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 75 % of the time and work on‑site.
• Ability to adhere to study‑specific billing and budget constraints.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of ICH‑GCP and applicable regulatory standards for clinical studies.
