Clinical Pharmacist – Fixed Term & Ongoing with Bonus

About the role

The Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals Pharmacy Department is seeking qualified Clinical Pharmacists for both fixed‑term and ongoing positions. Successful candidates will join a modern, multidisciplinary team delivering medicines management across two campuses, with exposure to complex clinical presentations such as chronic kidney disease, tropical diseases, and Aboriginal health.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medicines management services to in‑patients and out‑patients.
• Participate actively in antimicrobial stewardship and infectious disease programmes.
• Support renal, critical care, neonatal, and tropical disease units.
• Contribute to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health initiatives.
• Engage in weekend and on‑call rosters, with overtime compensation.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with recent hospital pharmacy experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to undertake weekend and on‑call duties.

• Salary range $109,860 – $130,643 per year (AUD) plus a 15% market allowance.
