Clinical Nurse – Hemodialysis Specialist

About the role

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join its dialysis centre in Liverpool, Australia. You will deliver patient‑centred hemodialysis care, support the clinic team, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, deliver and evaluate hemodialysis treatments using advanced nephrology nursing skills.
• Coordinate care for a group of dialysis patients, collaborating with nephrologists and allied health professionals.
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and clinic visitors.
• Mentor and precept level‑1 registered nurses, enrolled nurses and PSA staff.
• Lead quality‑improvement activities, infection‑control monitoring, and occupational health and safety promotion.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS) and ensure privacy compliance.

Required profile

• Registered general nurse with AHPRA and a current practising certificate.
• Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in nephrology.
• Working towards or holding an approved nephrology nursing qualification.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and quality‑improvement initiatives.
