Clinical Manager - Aged Care, Maroochydore

About the role

St Vincent's Care Maroochydore is a modern, lifestyle-oriented aged care service in a master-planned community on the Sunshine Coast, within walking distance of restaurants and a shopping centre. As Clinical Manager you lead and manage the nursing team, ensuring high-quality clinical care, effective staffing, staff development and strong clinical governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursing team
• Ensure high-quality clinical care and effective staffing
• Drive staff development and maintain strong clinical governance
• Act as a Responsible Person, accountable for day-to-day operations and with authority to plan and direct activities

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 3-5 years' post-registration clinical experience, including at least 2 years in aged care or sub-acute care
• Ongoing professional development in clinical leadership, governance or aged care management
• Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements and of the Aged Care Act 2024, strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, SIRS and funding frameworks
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check required for the role
• Successful completion and maintenance of Responsible Person screening checks
