Clinical Manager - Aged Care, Maroochydore

About the role

St Vincent's Care Maroochydore is a modern, lifestyle-oriented aged care service in a master-planned community on the Sunshine Coast, within walking distance of restaurants and a shopping centre. As Clinical Manager you lead and manage the nursing team, ensuring high-quality clinical care, effective staffing, staff development and strong clinical governance.

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 3-5 years' post-registration clinical experience, including at least 2 years in aged care or sub-acute care
• Demonstrated ongoing professional development in clinical leadership, governance or aged care management
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check required for the role
• Successful completion and maintenance of Responsible Person screening checks, as the role is accountable for day-to-day operations

Required skills

• Knowledge of all statutory and regulatory requirements for the role
• Knowledge of the Aged Care Act 2024, Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, SIRS and funding frameworks
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate with residents, families, staff and stakeholders
