Clinical Governance Business Partner

About the role

Amplar Health, part of the Medibank Group, is looking for a Clinical Governance Business Partner to strengthen clinical governance across its Age Better portfolio, which supports older Australians through preventative and personalised care. The role works with clinical and operational leaders to build governance systems, manage clinical risk and support safe, compliant, consumer-centred care. It is open to candidates anywhere in Australia and offers a flexible work-from-home model.

Key responsibilities

• Handle clinical incidents and complaints, including investigations and root cause analysis
• Maintain clinical risk registers and controls
• Prepare for audit and accreditation
• Develop policies and procedures
• Carry out trend analysis and governance reporting
• Coach teams in clinical governance systems
• Translate aged care requirements into practical operations

Required profile

• A relevant clinical qualification and current registration as a nurse or allied health professional
• Demonstrated experience in clinical governance, quality or patient safety
• Experience in aged care, community care or another regulated healthcare environment; community-based aged care experience highly regarded
• Experience in incident management, investigations, clinical risk, audit or accreditation
• Confident working across multidisciplinary teams in a regulated healthcare environment

• Strong analytical and reporting skills, able to turn data into insights
• Strong communication skills to engage clinicians and stakeholders
• Proactive, organised and able to work autonomously
