Clinical Editor – Healthcare Publishing

About the role

Therapeutic Guidelines Limited is seeking a Clinical Editor to join its Publishing team. You will collaborate with Australian expert writing groups to transform the latest evidence into clear, practical clinical advice for a wide range of health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Review project priorities, update managers on progress, risks and roadblocks.
• Structurally edit and copy‑edit draft topics to ensure accuracy and readability.
• Work closely with Expert Writing Group members to resolve queries and support literature searches.
• Participate in publishing team and project meetings, and liaise with Production Editors for upcoming meetings.
• Maintain up‑to‑date project information and timelines within the project‑management system.
• Collaborate across the organisation to support the development of clinical guidelines.

Required profile

• Qualified clinical professional with strong written communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience working constructively with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Commitment to producing evidence‑based, patient‑focused content.
