Clinical Coordinator - Orthodontics (Senior Dental Officer Level 3)

About the role

Sydney Dental Hospital, which has served the local community since 1904, is recruiting a Clinical Coordinator for Orthodontics at Sydney Dental Hospital. You will work closely with the clinical team, coordinating the department's clinical functions and supporting patient progression, efficient use of clinical capacity and the implementation of skills-mix models of care to improve access and reduce delays to orthodontic treatment.

The position is temporary full time, 38 hours per week until November 2027, with a possibility of extension. It is a Category A position with NSW Health, so evidence of vaccination is required under the NSW Health occupational assessment policy.

Required profile

• AHPRA registration and current registration.
• Demonstrated advanced skills in independently managing complex general dentistry, with a particular interest in orthodontics and public dentistry.
• Demonstrated experience in quality improvement or service redesign, including implementing and evaluating care pathways or skills-mix models with appropriate clinical governance.
