Clinical Advisor - Ageing Services

About the role

Footprints Community, a not-for-profit organisation with more than 35 years of experience supporting older Australians, is looking for a Healthy Ageing Clinical Advisor in Brisbane. The role provides day-to-day clinical leadership across Footprints' Healthy Ageing services, including Support at Home and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, and reports to the General Manager Service Operations. It is a permanent full-time position with two days per week from home.

Key responsibilities

• Lead clinical governance, complex case reviews and clinical supervision for a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring safe, restorative and reablement-focused care.
• Lead clinical audits, incident oversight and continuous quality improvement.
• Provide clinical supervision and specialist advice across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Act as the escalation point for complex clinical needs and risks.
• Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and sector reforms.
• Facilitate case conferencing and clinical training, and build clinical capability and workforce development across the Ageing Well portfolio.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Allied Health or a related clinical field.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 5 years' clinical experience in aged care or community services.
• Experience delivering clinical supervision across multi-disciplinary teams such as nurses, occupational therapists and exercise physiologists.
• A person-centred clinical leader passionate about helping older people live well.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and reform priorities, including Support at Home.
• Clinical supervision and audit experience.

What we offer

• Salary of $120,000 - $127,000 plus superannuation and salary sacrifice.
• Salary packaging up to $18,550.
