About the role
The Climate Change Policy Manager will provide technical and strategic policy leadership for the Southeast Asia and Australia Government Partnerships (SEAG2G) programme. Working across Australia and Southeast Asia, the role supports the delivery of climate change and energy transition objectives and, where possible, integrates First Nations and localisation strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical and strategic policy leadership to advance SEAG2G’s climate change and energy transition objectives.
- Support the integration of First Nations perspectives and localisation strategies into program delivery where time permits.
- Collaborate with Australian and Southeast Asian government partners to develop and implement climate‑related policies and initiatives.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in climate change policy development and implementation.
- Familiarity with government partnership frameworks across Australia and Southeast Asia.
- Understanding of gender equality, disability and social inclusion (GEDSI) considerations in policy work.
