Cleaning Services Assistant - Casual

About the role

A casual Cleaning Services Assistant is needed at St Ann's, an aged care facility in Hobart, Tasmania. The role supports the delivery of high-quality cleaning services and helps keep the environment clean, safe and comfortable for residents, staff and visitors. You will work as part of a supportive services team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms and shared areas
• Maintain hygiene standards
• Follow infection control procedures

Required profile

• Genuine interest in working in aged care
• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, aged care or a similar environment highly regarded
• Current National Police Certificate
• Flexibility to work across different shifts

Required skills

• Understanding of cleaning procedures, hygiene and infection control practices
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and products
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage a varied workload and work as part of a team
